About Driveway Tire
Ottawa's mobile tire swap service — built around your schedule, not ours.
Why we started
Driveway Tire was born out of a simple frustration: getting seasonal tires swapped shouldn't cost you half a day. Between booking weeks in advance, driving across town, and sitting in a waiting room while an air wrench rattles your lugs on too tight, the traditional tire shop experience is broken for most people.
We figured there had to be a better way. Bring the equipment to the customer, do the job properly with calibrated torque wrenches, and be done in under 30 minutes — all while the customer stays home, stays at work, or stays wherever they parked.
What we do differently
Every wheel we touch is torqued to the manufacturer's exact specification — not over-tightened with an impact gun, and not under-tightened by hand. Over-torquing warps brake rotors; under-torquing risks wheel separation. We use calibrated click-style torque wrenches and check every single lug nut.
We also check tire pressure on every wheel and adjust it to the recommended PSI for your vehicle. If we spot cracking, uneven wear, or a nail, we let you know before we leave — no upsell, just a heads-up so you can make an informed decision.
Our service area
We serve the entire Ottawa-Gatineau region — from Kanata and Stittsville in the west, through downtown and the Glebe, out to Orleans and Gloucester in the east, down to Barrhaven and Riverside South in the south, and across the river to Hull, Aylmer, and Plateau in Gatineau.
Clear prices, no surprises
Mobile Swap is paid after the work is done. Swap & Store is paid at your appointment, before your tires leave, and Driveway Tire Club is paid in full at your first visit. We accept cash, e-Transfer, tap to pay, debit and credit cards. There are no booking fees and no travel charge anywhere in our service areas; if you're outside them, any travel fee is quoted before we confirm your visit.
Fully insured
We carry full commercial liability insurance. Your vehicle and property are protected during every visit. We also bring mats and take care not to mark your driveway.
